Plasma Car Racing Instructions

Race Day: Friday, October 27, 2017
Location:
UofA "Social Street" 
  (Located within the Physical Activity and Wellness Centre)
Schedule: Driver/Team Check-in time:
11:30 am - 12:00 Noon
  (There will be short demos on "How to ride a plasma car.")

Heats/Racing time: 12:00 pm - 12:45 pm 
  Trophy/Presentations to Follow

Entries:

A driver (single person or as a team) comes prepared to hop on a plasma car and start racing! Racers (as identified on the registration form) will be called to the track as their heat commences. Pit crew can join the driver race-side for support and encouragement.

Easy Ways to Donate!  
  • In advance: you can donate online today at the main Plasma Car Racing Fundraising Page. It's a fun, easy way of encouraging friends and co-workers alike to "fund your drive". Or add a competitive twist by creating your "fund-racing" and become a fundraiser.
  • Using a Pledge form (pdf) that can be downloaded early and/or completed at race time. 
  • On Race Day:  Any cash donation will be welcomed at the Race Registration Desk in "Social Street". Income Tax receipts available for donations $10+. 
  • Purchase a "50/50 Ticket" for a Raffle during race hours (11:30 am-12:45 pm). Raffle draw held at 12:50 pm. Ticket Holder must be present to win. 12 tickets for $10; Single Ticket is $1
